Ethical values, principles and practices are at the core of Visionary People Mentoring’s strategy and development. Jointly supporting and promoting this as a network is essential for all professional collaborators, whether analysts or artists/creative industry experts, who are committed to this with a written commitment to Visionary People Mentoring.

These values, principles and practices form the company’s ethical charter:

  1. Visionary People Mentoring professional collaborators respect human rights at all times, act ethically and with integrity, without prejudice and discrimination, respect the laws of the country in which they work without affecting their personal conscience, put everyone’s safety and well-being first;

  2. Professional collaborators respect the confidentiality of the information they process from their clients;

  3. Professional collaborators refrain from making private and public statements and statements that are racist, sexist, discriminatory, hateful or otherwise insulting or objectionable in nature;

  4. Professional collaborators are open to the local customs, cultures and sensitivities of the places where they work or of the clients they work for;

  5. Professional collaborators refrain from any form of abuse of power in their position and from other fraudulent practices;

  6. During their work for Visionary People Mentoring, professional collaborators convey the company’s mission, values, philosophy, integrity and methods. They also protect the company’s intellectual property. The following aspects bind this commitment:

    • (a) Visionary People Mentoring believes in the personal development and freedom of the professional collaborators in its network. Therefore, after being contracted by the Visionary People Mentoring management/director, professional collaborators work under its supervision while keeping their independent professional basis;

    • (b) Professional collaborators are selected by Visionary People Mentoring based on both their expertise and personality. Creating equal opportunities, inclusivity and diversity is central to the selection;

    • (c) Cooperative entrepreneurship is a core value of Visionary People Mentoring. When a contract is given to professional collaborators by the management/director, both enter into a cooperation agreement that is drawn up in accordance with the conditions of the Belgian division of the cooperative Smart group or of a similar cooperative company chosen by the Visionary People Mentoring management/director. This agreement stipulates that management/director guides and supports the professional collaborators in the projects (contracts) that are given to them. Professional collaborators commit to a clear marketing plan with objectives to be achieved that are periodically evaluated;

    • (d) Visionary People Mentoring aims to serve successful people, companies and organizations worldwide. To this end, professional collaborators are assigned, if not for one specific project, to a regional area of potential projects. Within their field, professional collaborators are committed to giving the best of themselves in the valorization of clients;

    • (e) Professional collaborators who, due to force majeure or any other reasonable cause, are unable to terminate their commitment to a client, immediately notify the Visionary People Mentoring management/director who is looking for a solution;

    • (f) Professional collaborators will always valorize their clients in their analysis and cooperation, as befits the status of successful people, companies and organizations. However, things can go wrong. Clients who feel they need to file a complaint can do so by email (thierry.limpens@visionarypeople.net) or by postal address (Kuikenstraat 148, 1620 Drogenbos, Belgium) addressed to the management of Visionary People Mentoring who initiates mediation. In the event of a failed mediation, professional collaborators, in their capacity as self-employed persons, bear full responsibility for their actions that led to the complaint and, if necessary, will have to mount their legal defense. Insofar as Visionary People Mentoring is not addressed as a company itself, it will not intervene in the costs or in the procedure of this defense;

  7. Professional collaborators subscribe to the full ethical manifesto that will be communicated to them before they start working with Visionary People Mentoring. They do this through the following declaration of commitment, which is signed on their word of honor: “I subscribe to all values, principles and practices in this charter. I will promptly inform the Visionary People Mentoring management/director of any problematic situation in which I am involved or of which I am aware in the context of the company’s work, whether as a witness, a victim or as a suspect";

  8. In the event of a violation of one or more parts of the ethical manifesto by a professional collaborator, the management/director of Visionary People Mentoring may cease all cooperation, with immediate effect or at a later time depending on the nature of the violation.
